Director of Budget & Strategy, Flower Mound

Meg Jakubik, CGFO, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from Texas Tech University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas.  She has over 18 years of experience working in government, having served in various departments through her career, including the Police Department, City’s Secretary’s Office, City Manager’s Office, and Finance.  As the Director of Budget & Strategy, she is responsible for coordinating the budget process and strategic planning projects, while also supervising Grants, Facilities, and Fleet operations for the Town of Flower Mound.

Meg has been a member of GFOAT since 2012 and earned her Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO) designation in 2014.  She currently serves as the Secretary and the GFOA Representative for GFOAT on the Board, is a member of the Program Committee, and instructor for the GFOAT Budget Academy.
