Texas Operations Manager and Sr. Sales Tax Analyst

Jon Granberry is the Operations Manager and Sr. Sales Tax Analyst for HdL Companies in Texas. He has spent the last 15 years serving local governments with a focus on analyzing and auditing local sales tax data and developing a deep understanding of the Texas Comptroller’s processes around local sales tax administration. Jon has helped grow HdL Texas (formerly Sales Tax Assurance) from a small start-up serving a dozen agencies in the Austin and Houston areas to now serving over 200 local governments across Texas. Under his leadership, the HdL Texas Audit and Recovery team has recovered more than $100 million in misallocated local sales tax for local governments in Texas. A Texas native and life-long Spurs fan, Jon holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Texas State University in San Marcos.
