City Manager, City of Round Rock

Brooks Bennett became City Manager for Round Rock in December 2024, after serving as Assistant City Manager since February 2015. Bennett began his career with the City in May 2004, holding positions in Communications and Information Technology, and ultimately serving as Chief Information Officer before being named Assistant City Manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Public Administration from The University of Texas–Pan American. Bennett was born and raised in Round Rock, where he resides with his wife and two sons.
