In this session, the City of Frisco and Cherry Bekaert will walk through how implementing GASB 103 is impacting the City’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). Topics will include the results of the City’s artificial intelligence driven MD&A assessment across 20 critical factors, how the City identified and regrouped accounts in their proprietary fund statements for updated presentation, and steps the City has taken to have significant budget variances documented in accordance with GASB 103.

Attendees will be able to take the lessons learned from the City’s implementation and apply it to their governments in fiscal year 2026.
